What's wrong with people? 2

Bullying
Since bullying is (unfortunately) something we've been seen a lot lately, well I just thought about .... any guess??? ... Disney !!!
You see not only common people, minions or sidekicks get bully, also the princesses... Believe it or not... but do believe, it is true
Anyway, because the movies always play a song for, well, any and all reasons, I decided to take one of the songs...
Not all of it but here it is
Beauty and the Beast

[Belle:] Little town
It's a quiet village
Ev'ry day
Like the one before
Little town
Full of little people

--Belle seems to be discriminating against the town, oí mayor not discriminating but definitely criticizing,  later we see why

[Townsfolk:] Look there she goes that girl is strange, no question
Dazed and distracted, can't you tell?
Never part of any crowd
'Cause her head's up on some cloud
No denying she's a funny girl that Belle

--- town people criticize her, judge her because she is "Never part of any crowd"?? So?
They don't like her because she doesn't conform, and she doesn't like them because they do.

[Belle:] There must be more than this provincial life
--Belle wants more of course, because she does feel like she belongs and resents the town's people, I mean who wouldn't if they call you strange, funny, not part of them.

[Belle to the book store owner:] Well, it's my favorite! Far off places, daring swordfights,
magic spells, a prince in disguise -
-- of course that's your favorite, it has nothing to do with your life.
You see, people force other people to want to be anywhere but there.

[Townsfolk:] Look there she goes that girl is so peculiar
I wonder if she's feeling well
With a dreamy far-off look
And her nose stuck in a book
What a puzzle to the rest of us is Belle

-- why must people, girls, who like to read and think for themselves be a puzzle? Liking an doing different thinks is not bad, is actually encouraged, be different as long as you don't hurt others

[Woman:] Now it's no wonder that her name means "beauty"
Her looks have got no parallel
[Shopkeeper:] But behind that fair facade
I'm afraid she's rather odd
Very diff'rent from the rest of us
[Townsfolk:] She's nothing like the rest of us
Yes, diff'rent from the rest of us is Belle

-- odd, different, nothing like us? Why? Because she is beautiful and actually thinks?
people have this tendency of judging others by looks, because Belle is beautiful and actually thinks she is odd, the Beast is ugly and seems rude is more acceptable.... That's a bunch of... You know.... Anyway never judge a book by its cover...

Now here comes Gaston egocentric, moronic brute
[Gaston:] She's the one - the lucky girl I'm going to marry.
-- lucky? Yeah right?

[Gaston:] The most beautiful girl in town.
That makes her the best. And don't I deserve the best?
Right from the moment when I met her, saw her
I said she's gorgeous and I fell
-- you fell?
You saw her and you fell for her looks, thinking that only good looks count... How much more narcissistic and egocentric can this be...

Here in town there's only she
Who is beautiful as me
So I'm making plans to woo and marry Belle

--- behold STUPIDITY, it would be good if this was just the fairy tale and cartoon, but no, this is real, people actually "think" (if you can call that thinking) and act like that

He's such a tall, dark, strong and handsome brute
-- and I agree wholeheartedly on the BRUTE part

[Townsfolk:] Look there she goes a girl who's strange but special
A most peculiar mademoiselle
It's a pity and a sin
She doesn't quite fit in
'Cause she really is a funny girl
A beauty but a funny girl
She really is a funny girl
That Belle

--- now hold your horses people --- pity and a sin???-- a sin? To not fit it, that's ridiculous, stupid,,,

Anyway
Well the point is there's bullying everywhere, even with the princesses. Started with Belle disliking the town and the people, but then we are that is because the criticize and bully her because she is pretty and she actually daydreams and thinks for herself...

Mmmm
That's all for now.,,
